 Wearing blue-light glasses right before resting can lead to a better night's rest and add to a better day's work to follow, new research shows.


"We found that wearing blue-light-filtering glasses is an efficient treatment to improve rest, work interaction, job efficiency and business citizenship habits, and decreased detrimental work habits," says Cristiano L. Guarana, aide teacher of management and entrepreneurship at Indiana University's Kelley Institution of Business.

Most of the technology we commonly use—such as computer system displays, mobile phones, and tablets—emits blue light, which previous research has found can disrupt rest. Employees have become more based on these devices, particularly as we browse remote work and institution throughout the coronavirus pandemic.


NIGHT OWLS AND MORNING LARKS
